Our Story
If you haven't met Amy yet she is the Owner & Director of The Performer's Place. She first bought a school called "Busta Groove" which was an after school Street Dance club in schools. This quickly led to Amy opening an out of school performing arts school called "Groove Box Academy of Performing Arts" in 2022. In just 2 years she had classes running over 6 days a week in 2 areas! We REBRANDED in 2024 and brought both companies together to make "THE PERFORMER'S PLACE".
Amy comes from a Performing Arts background and still performs today. Amy Trained at Italia Conti, Mountview & PPA totalling in 5 years professional training. She has travelled the world singing & has been in various shows either touring or in london....... Bat out of Hell, Closer to heaven, Get it on & celebrity cruise lines to name a few.
Amy has a talented team backing & working with her and couldn't not have them working their magic behind the scenes and in classes! We are always making sure we a current, exciting, fun & of course friendly!
